It has been a long, long time since we have seen snow like this. 
It is very gratifying to see Joe in snow like this. Proper stuff that settles for days. This is the kind of snow that I remember as a kid and I am really pleased for Joe that he will be able to look back on a good fall of snow.
Joe and his friend Reece went out onto the field behind the house for snowballs and sledging.
Steph, Reece's mum and their dog Milly came too.
The road is still iced on Tuesday, five days after the first fall.
